Fees & Practice Policies

This page outlines fees, payment, and practice policies so you know what to expect before booking.

If anything is unclear, you’re welcome to include any questions in your enquiry.

Therapy Fees

Therapy sessions are 50 minutes in length.

Session fee: $220

A Medicare rebate of $98.95 is available with a valid referral provided by your GP or psychiatrist.

See the therapy page for more information about sessions.

Assessment Fees

Assessment fees typically range from $1300–$2200 depending on type and complexity.

Common assessments include:

  • Adult ADHD Assessment – $1400
  • Adult Autism Assessment – $1500
  • Child ADHD Assessment – $1300
  • Child Autism Assessment – $1600
  • Cognitve (Intellectual Capability) Assessments - $1300

Full fee details are available in the Fee Guide below.

Note: all quoted fees are exclusive of GST. Services requested by third-parties (e.g. schools, lawyers) are subject to GST.

See the assessments page for more information about assessment services.

Medicare & Referrals

A referral is not required to access services.

However, a valid GP or psychiatrist referral is required to claim Medicare rebates.

Medicare rebates apply to therapy sessions only and do not generally apply to assessment services.

Payment

Payment is required prior to the first appointment unless otherwise arranged.

Payment for subsequent sessions is required on the day of the appointment.

Receipts are provided for your records.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Late cancellations and missed appointments will incur a fee. Full details are outlined in the Practice Policies document below.

Refunds

Fees reflect professional time and services provided. Refunds are not typically offered once services have been delivered.

Full details are outlined in the Practice Policies document below.

Attendance & Appointment Timing

Appointments are scheduled in advance.

Sessions run for 50 minutes and begin and finish at the scheduled time.

New topics raised at the end of a session are usually carried over to the next appointment.

Session times cannot usually be extended.

If you arrive early, you may be asked to wait until your appointment time.

If you arrive late, the session will still finish at the scheduled time.

Communication Between Sessions

Contact between sessions is generally limited to administrative matters. Therapeutic support is provided during scheduled appointments.

If we happen to see each other in public, I will not initiate contact in order to protect your privacy. If you choose to acknowledge me first, I will respond briefly, but I will not engage in conversation about therapy outside of scheduled appointments.

Confidentiality & Privacy

Your privacy and confidentiality are taken seriously.

Information is handled in accordance with Australian privacy legislation.

Further detail is available in the Privacy Policy.

Consent & Policies

Consent forms are provided before starting services. Our consent forms are linked below.

These outline the nature of the service, confidentiality, and practice policies.

Consent supports informed and collaborative care.
